Mighty Mukuru Wanderers on Sunday gave away a goal lead to draw against Moyale Barracks in the Tnm Superleague encounter at Kamuzu Stadium.

Stanley Sanudi gave his side a lead 16 minutes into the game after a good exchange of passes with Gaddie Chirwa.

Moyale had some chances through Simkonda and Walusungu Mdoka but failed to put the ball behind the net.

First half ended with Wanderers leading.

Second half both sides came in with different tactics as Wanderers Kumwembe missed clear chances, on other side Gasten Simkonda also missed some.

In the dying minutes of the game when everybody gave the home team maximum points Moyale’s substitute Hassan Upindi headed home a cross from Lovemore Jere who squared the cross into the box.

So it ended Mighty Mukuru Wanderers 1, Moyale 1.

In post match interview Mark Harrison said his boys failed to control the game.

“At first we started well but at the end we failed to control the game, and we were punished thereby by dropping the points,” said Harrison.

Victor Chingoka Moyale coach praised his boys for not giving up.

“We conceded an early goal but at half time I told my boys not to give up and yes it happened we scored at the end of the game, we are still fighting until the end of the league,” he said.

Clifford Chimlambe voted Man of the Match for exceptional performance.

Mighty Mukuru Wanderers remain on top with 47 points from 24 games, 4 games gap to the defending Champions FCB Nyasa Big Bullets who played 20 games with 43 points while Moyale Barracks with 30 points and maintained the 11th position from 24 games so far played.
