Mussa still under arrest

The Former Minister of Defense Uladi Mussa’s case misses clear clarification if Chakwera pardoned his case or not.

This has been revealed by the lawyer for Uladi Mussa ,Chancy Gondwe who said they were been called to explain more on the pardon by the president.

And Gondwe saying he is wondering that the lawyer for the government does not know if the president pardoned Musa or not.

Gondwe said if one has been forgiven it means the person is free and can do everything which is totally different to Uladi Mussa’s situation.

“The Court asked us to explain the issue on what happens if the president pardons the case. But this is totally different to Musa

“Once one is forgiven that means the person is clear and can bee allowed to do everything ” Gondwe said.

Komdone Nyasulu said that the complaining letter was signed by the office in-charge for the prison not the president.

“The letter was not signed by the president showing the pardon,then how can it be a pardon. Mussa is still arrested despite that he is out from the prison because his case is not cleared “said Nyasulu

Ulandi Mussa was arrested over office abuse and was pardoned by the President Chakwera on 12 April 2023 during the Easter Holiday.
