Road Accident Claims Three Lives dead

Three people have died and one sustained serious injuries in a road accident involving a Toyota Belta and motorcycle at Lizulu Trading center along the Ntcheu- Dedza M1 road .
It is reported that the driver of the vehicle identified as Hamilton Chimala was heading Ntcheu- from Dedza he lost control of the vehicle and went offside the lane.
Ntcheu police spokesperson Rabecca Ndiwate said the vehicle collided with a motorcycle carrying three family members and later hit a pedestrian in the process.
The deceased have been identified as Richard Patison , a female pillion passenger who was carrying a 11 months months baby girl on her back and the unknown male pedestrian who was walking along the verge .
” The unknown passenger and the baby sustained severe head injuries and were pronounced dead upon arrival at Dedza District hospital while the pillion passenger Maria Patison sustained fractures on both legs and is receiving treatment at Dedza hospital.
Two of the three deceased are of the same family a husband to the woman receiving treatment and her baby.
