Munlo says Chakwera is President to himself
Leader of Mass Movement for Economic Revolution who is also Secretary General for Malawi First Pressure Group Redson Munlo says Malawians are not ready to have President Dr. Lazarus McCarthy Chakwera to 2025 as their President.
Munlo said President Chakwera has proved to Malawians that he has no welfare of the citizens at heart when he led his delegation to attend the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) in New York-United States of America (USA).
He said President Chakwera left the country at the time that fuel stations are completely dry with no fuel and no forex and making matters worse, people are queuing for petrol and sleeping in service stations for days.
Speaking through an audio clip circulating in various social media platforms, Munlo has observed that the country has stopped productions, people are not going for a work and instead, they are going around searching for fuel in service stations.
Munlo said Malawi has a careless President who does not care about the country and its citizens since the dawn of multiparty democracy in 1994 saying it is not surprising that he knows himself that he is President while Malawians have no trust in him.
He has accused Secretary General of the MCP for speaking useless speech at the burial ceremony of the departed John Zenasi Ungapake Tembo that Tembo should tell the late Ngwazi Dr. Hastings Kamuzu Banda wherever he is that his chosen one, Dr. Lazarus Chakwera is delivering to the nation.
The Activist has question Eisenhower Mkaka to tell Malawians what is it exactly that Chakwera has delivered in his 3 years stay in government saying Mkaka’s speech was a clear demonstration that Malawi is being run by useless people who don’t know why they are in government.
“President Chakwera’s motorcade was booed along the streets to Lilongwe case in point, useless speech by Mkaka,” said Munlo.
Munlo has therefore, invited Malawians who love their country to patronize protests by the Human Rights Ambassadors (HRAs) on 11th October, 2023 from Waka-Waka to Capital Hill and on 25th October, 2023 by the Malawi First Pressure Group from Lilongwe Community Centre ground to State House in Lilongwe to present a petition to President Chakwera that Enough is Enough, resign for failing Malawians.
He has since reminded the authorities that the more they stone them with the police behind them, the more they will start harder assuring them that “No surrender and No, retreat” until the time their petition is delivered at the State House.
