Kenson Malanga Seeks Parliamentary Seat for Chitipa East

Independent candidate Kenson Malanga has officially announced his bid for the Member of Parliament seat in Chitipa East Constituency.

With elections scheduled for September 16, 2025, Malanga has pledged to address the area’s developmental challenges head-on.

“I can confirm that I will be contesting for the position of Member of Parliament for Chitipa East Constituency. What has motivated me is the desire to bridge the development gap, particularly in Misuku,” he said.

Malanga outlined a vision centered on infrastructure development—especially road improvements—and unlocking the constituency’s agricultural potential. He underscored Misuku’s critical role in Malawi’s coffee production and expressed intentions to revitalize and expand the sector.

Calling for committed and youthful leadership, Malanga positioned himself as the candidate best suited to drive progress. He urged the people of Chitipa East to rally behind his campaign for meaningful development in the region.
