Gift Nathaniel Mkamanga Laid to Rest

Gift Nathaniel Mkamanga, who until his death was assistant Coach of Chitipa United FC, was laid to rest today in his home village of Kanyenjere, Chitipa district.

Mkamanga’s funeral drew a large gathering of football association leaders, family, friends, and community members who came to pay their final respects.

The emotional service at Kanyenjere celebrated his life, legacy, and contributions to the football community.

Mkamanga’s sudden passing occurred on Thursday after colleagues noticed his absence during breakfast. A postmortem revealed that he died of a heart attack.
