Football Association of Malawi (FAM) Director of Competitions and Communications, Gomezgani Zakazaka, confirmed that the Round of 32 will take place between August 15–17, followed by the Round of 16 in mid-September. The semifinals are slated for early October, with the final scheduled for November 1.

Zakazaka expressed enthusiasm about the draw, noting the “Pachema” theme is already delivering thrilling pairings.

“Cup competitions are known for surprises,” Zakazaka said. “Two seasons ago, we saw a reserve side reach the final, eliminating big teams. Expect the unexpected again this year. To be the best, you must beat the best — and that’s what fans should look forward to.”

FDH Bank’s Head of Marketing and Communications, Ronald Chimchere, also hailed the draw as exciting and aligned with the competition’s vibrant spirit.

“There are exciting games ahead,” he said. “We’re not just about sponsorship — we’re here to make sure teams are supported with full kits, financial backing, and incentives to perform. We encourage fans to maintain peace and enjoy the game responsibly.”

The FDH Bank Cup continues to grow as a platform of unpredictability, passion, and opportunity — true to its promise of “Pachema.”
