DPP’s Ngwira Urges Prayer, Support for God-Fearing Leaders Ahead of 2025 Elections

DPP Regional Governor for the north Christopher Mzomera Ngwira urged Christians at St. James CCAP Church in Mzuzu to pray for divine guidance ahead of the 2025 elections.

He emphasized the importance of electing leaders who fear God, warning that neglecting this could lead to greater hardships.

Ngwira encouraged the congregation to support candidates with Christian values, specifically mentioning Kenneth Sanga, who’s running for Parliament.

During his visit, Ngwira fulfilled his pledge of K400,000 to the church, which is fundraising to build its premises.

The parish minister, Larsson Kamanga, expressed gratitude, while fundraising chairperson Mercy Msukwa announced that over K9 million has been raised so far.

“I must thank the moderator and the congregation for doing big. Your spirit of giving will help us achieve our goal to build this church,” Msukwa said.
