CDH Investment Bank hails Chilobwe west community

To support Government’s efforts on social responsibility in the country, CDH Investment Bank has demonstrated its passion to assist those in need by supporting Chilobwe West Community with 50 bags of cement towards road maintanance at Chilobwe in Blantyre city.

The 500 meters road which leads to other vital places alongside the duo, has been in bad status and is often impassable due to excess s mud and slippy conditions during rainy seasons.

Speaking during a donation of cement bags which will cover almost the whole length of the road, CDH Investment Bank Innovation and Projects Manager, Mr Noel Chowawa said the bank is passionate to assist those with project ideas and hence the support after it was approached by Chilobwe West Community members.

“Our aim as CDH Investment Bank is to assist those with business /project ideas and help implement them for their betterment, hence the current support rendered to the community today” said Chowawa.

And in his words, Chairperson for Chilombwe West Community, Mr Steward Thyoka commended CDHIB for the timely donation citing that it will reduce the challenges faced in the area.

“It is our pleasure to receive this donation today, these bags of cement will help to cover almost the entire road,therefore it is a timely”Highlighted Thyoka.
