Malawi the Queens maintain world ranking position

The Malawi National Netball team, the queen’s has maintained their position in the world Netball ranking.

According to International Netball Federation (INF) say the ranking is based on matches the teams has played as of 1st March 2023.

The Queen’s are on position 6 with only 50 matches played.

Australia remained top on the ranking with 38 matches and New Zealand on second position with 46 matches.

South Africa and Malawi are the only two teams from the southern Africa which have made it into the top six world Netball ranking, south Africa is on position 5 with 65 matches.

The confederation of Southern Africa Netball Association has also congrate it’s members for being top 8 teams out of 10 teams in the region.

The top 8 teams which has made it are South Africa (5), Malawi (6), Lesotho (43), Eswantini (28), Botswana (24), Zambia (16) and Zimbabwe (13).

The last INF netball ranking was released in September 2022 and this is the new world Netball ranking being released in the year 2023.
