Haiya Promises Reforms as he launches his manifesto

Nyasa Big bullets vice president yesterday launched his manifesto for the presidency at Super League of Malawi (Sulom) at Bingu International Conference Center.
Speaking during the launch, Haiya emphasised on the need to commercialise And professionalise our league.
“As you most teams in the league are not run professional so I want to change this so that we can have good competition in the league because teams will have financial muscles to challenge for honours” he Said
Haiya continued to say that its high time for Sulom to have a secretariat And also it should be of interest to the clubs.
“Sulom has been operating as an executive committee for so long but without any concrete results on the table so its high time we have a secretariat to help in running of business so that we can be able to market the brand of our league And also Sulom should be of interest of clubs Thats why I have promised that starting from this years league teams subvention will up from One miliion to seven million Kwacha And this is just a starting point” he explained
According to Haiya, he wants all stakeholders to come And work together so that we make our league interesting.
“I can’t say I will be working alone to achieve all these things but togetherness can yield fruits so I call upon FAM, companies, referees committees, regional committees, stewards, journalists And all stakeholders in football to come together And make our football go further” he concluded.
Haiya is competing with Incumbent Tiya Somba Banda for the top position which is slated for February 25 in Mangochi
The event was graced by some notable faces like the new minister of sports And youth Uchizi Mkandawire, Inkosi ya Makosi Mbelwa And Veteran musician Lawrence Khwisa Known by his stage name ‘Lulu’ spiced by the event with his music.
