Njaliwa Strikes Late as Costa do Sol Maintain Top Spot in Moçambola League

Former Moyale Barracks and Malawi international, Loyd Njaliwa, scored a 72nd-minute winner as Costa do Sol came from behind to defeat Brera FC 2-1 in the Moçambola League on Saturday.
The Flames attacker’s strike secured a vital three points for Costa do Sol, maintaining their top position with 37 points from 17 games.
Njaliwa’s goal marked his third of the season, placing him second among Malawian players in the league’s scoring chart, behind Richard Mbulu (4 goals) and level with Yamikani Chester (3 goals).
Costa do Sol’s victory solidifies their position at the top of the Moçambola League table.
