Mponela FC condemns act of violence in football

Dowa based football team Mponela FC has condemned the act of violence which some suspected team officials and players did by beating a referee in a 2:1 defeat by Villa FC in champions cup at champion stadium.
According to a statement released by team general Secretary Aaron Chijana Banda says the team is apologizing to all people affected by the act violence by their team officials and players and has also say this is unacceptable in a game of football.
Banda also added that as the team they will take proper action to deal with all perpetrators found to be involved in the action.
” Mponera FC values for fair play, respect, and sportsmanship and we will not tolerate any behaviour that contradicts these principles.
“We will take internal disciplinary action against any player or official found to be involved in the incident.”
Mponela FC has also apologize to the referee, match officials and the opposing team for the distress and harm caused by their players and officials after the match.

Some players and officials suspected to be from Mponela FC were seen beating the referee after the referee blows the last whistle and this makes the Mponela FC supporters and players unhappy blaming the referee for poor officiation.
Villa FC emerged the winner of Champions cup knock out stage by 2:1 victory at Champion stadium in Mponela, Dowa and Mponela FC has been booted out.
