Man Nabbed For Assault Occasioning Actual Bodily Harm

Jenda Police Station has placed in cell a 27-year-old Gabriel Kachali for allegedly assaulting and injuring a sex worker after finding her offering services to another man in the room she was lodging.

This incident occurred during the night of April 30, 2023 at Jenda trading centre.

Kachali reportedly beat up the sex-worker to the extent of removing her three front teeth following her denial to meet him with the aim of meeting another man who she was caught with, the development that infuriated Kachali who eventually became violent.

Immediately after the incident, the matter was reported to Police whose investigations led to the arrest of the suspect.

He has since been charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm contrary to section 254 of the Penal Code and he will appear before court soon.
