The Real firm that has an ever-growing team of people who are focused on forward thinking and strong project management in order to work with you from the ground up, has injected K5 Million to be used in awarding the district or Directors of Health and Social Services (DHSS) to be voted best in delivering health services at the maximum level with pure professionalism in the country this year.

The Network is holding an annual General meeting in Mzuzu and the agenda is to discuss the criteria to be used for the organisers to come up with the best performer in the health sector and select the winners for the proposed Best Health Services Delivery Award.

Innobuild Chief Executive Officer, Jonathan Billy Chiotha said the products of the company have been purchased by the Malawians hence paying back to the Citizens.

“We recognise that Innobuild has been in Services for seven years. The people that supported the existence of the Innobuild are Malawians,” said Chiotha. ” Our services, products have been purchased throughout by Malawians. We could not be at this juncture of growth it was not for Malawians. We understand one things that most Malawians who are customers for Innobuild, the average incomers who cannot manage going to private hospitals [to access the health services].

“And also we recognise [that] most of our clients are supported by those people who are working in public health facilities and we want to say a thank you to doctors, nurses, health facility officers who are working tirelessly to provide the best health services to Malawians who most of them [they] actually support Innobuild and we say thank to them.

“We want to motivate them, [doctors and nurses] work beyond the motive of money and material awards. They work because of passionate and we want to reward them for that.”

Chiotha added that the award is not a once off saying that they are there to stay.

“At these awards, the public health facility Officers will feel recognised by us Malawians and Innobuild is there to represent Malawians,” added Chiotha.

Hadrod Mkandawire Malga Chief Executive Officer said the coming in of the award will push the health workers to work beyond the call of duty.

“It has come at the right time where the country has launched the health sector strategic plans. There are ambitious calls in that plans and one of them is that improving significantly Delivery outcomes [which are the medium of outcomes of the human resources]. This award that will be supported by Innobuild is more relevant, timely and very important,”said Mkandawire.

Making his remarks, Dr Henry Chibowa who is a Chairperson of Health Services Managers Network (Hesnet) has commended Innobuild for the gesture.

“This will help so much in terms of motivating [health] workers on the ground as you are aware that there is alot of works that are being done in the health sector but these are not really recognised and rewarded accordingly. We have seen government making efforts to reward workers as we saw we had a Zikomo Awards in which the health workers that performed well in the COVID-19 response were rewarded by the government.

“So that’s in recognition of the need to make sure that all the work that are being done in the health sector are being recognised and rewarded accordingly. So these [awards by Innobuild] will serve as motivation to health workers to ensure that they work even harder and even to return their services in the health system,” said Chibowa.

Chibowa added that other companies and individuals should follow what Innobuild has done by recognising the best performers in the healthy industry to motivate the health workers.
