If someone unifies different things or parts, or if the things or parts unify, they are brought together to form one thing.

People from all walks of life flocked to Dedza Stadium to pay their last respects to late John Zenus Ungapake Tembo.

President Reverend Lazarus Chakwera and First Lady Madam Monica Chakwera arrived at the stadium and led the nation in escorting late JZU to his resting place.

In honour of the departed statesman, former President Dr Bakili Muluzi was also in attendance.

Also attending the ceremony were Vice President Dr Saulos Chilima, former Vice President Khumbo Kachali among other dignitaries.

When all eulogies and speeches were delivered a church service followed, and JZU departed Dedza Stadium for Kaphala Village in Dedza for a private burial with full military honours.

Conclusion
A funeral honors the dead by giving loved ones the opportunity to gather and reflect on the life of a person with whom they spent time and created memories. It also helps family and friends acknowledge the death and prepare to begin the grief journey.
