Martse Foundation hands over desks to Cape Maclear Primary School.

Martse Foundation through its Director Richard Chirwa fulfilled the promise of the late Martin ‘Martse’ Nkhata by handing over desks to Cape Maclear Primary School.

Late Martse made this call last year when he was in the area and visited the school and found that most students sit on the floor and he made a promise through his facebook page that he will source funds to buy desks for the school but unfortunately on 23 May 2022 Martse died at Queen Elizabeth Hospital after he was burnt in the house he was sleeping in.

Speaking on the handover Headtecher for the school Esther Banda thanked Martse Foundation for fulfilling the promise.

“Wanna thank the Martse Foundation for fulfilling the promise which was made by late Martse (May his soul continue resting in peace) it is no mean achievement to carry out this wonderful tasks which will ease our problems here at our school And we are very grateful to each And everyone who took part to make the dream of late Martse come true” she Said

Father to Martse, Fraser Martin Nkhata Said that there are questions people would still ask to they don’t have answers.

“Why was it that Martse chose this place? Why is it that he did not choose any school in his home village in Mzimba but choose here? Why did he not die here but at Queen Elizabeth where he was born? God will answer all these questions” Said Nkhata before he walked out of stage dancing to his son’s Mabala song.

The Event was spiced by performances from students And renowned artists like Hyphen, Waxy Kay, Wikise, Tsar Leo, Fly P, Nepman, Krazie G And Provoice.
