Brave Woman Seminar Inspires Women to Lead and Transform Communities

Women from 30 different churches in have been encouraged to rise above limitations and discover their God-given potential during a one-day Brave Woman Seminar organized by in collaboration with .
The seminar, held at , focused on empowering women to become influential voices in churches, families, and communities through faith, discipline, and obedience to God.
Speaking during the event, Divine Encounter Trust Chief Executive Officer urged women to spread messages that promote hope, transformation, and spiritual growth within society.
“Preaching should not be treated as showbiz. Women must focus on serving God faithfully and sincerely,” said Banda.
She further encouraged women to emulate Mary from the Bible by developing listening ears, stressing that obedience, humility, and faith remain essential in fulfilling God’s purpose.
“Women should have listening ears like Mary because God still speaks through obedience, humility, and faith,” she added.
Banda also challenged women to become fruitful, dependable, and trustworthy so that their contributions can positively impact churches and communities.
“Our absence in gatherings should be felt through the trust and value people place in us. We must reflect the true image of God,” she said.
Speaking on behalf of , emphasized the importance of inclusion in churches, particularly for people living with disabilities.
“The church must become a place where everyone feels accepted, valued, included, and supported regardless of their condition,” said Tembo.
She further encouraged women to support the sick and advocate for the active inclusion of people living with disabilities in both church and community activities.
One of the participants, from , described the seminar as timely and eye-opening, saying it inspired women to take active leadership roles within the church.
The seminar concluded with a strong message that women have the potential to transform communities when they are spiritually, socially, and emotionally empowered.
