In a commendable display of community spirit, traders at Lunzu Market have donated chairs and water troughs to Kadidi Health Center. This initiative aims to address critical needs at the facility, enhancing patient comfort and care.
Henderson Ligomeka, chairperson of the traders, emphasized their responsibility in supporting local health services. “We managed to raise K400,000 among ourselves to purchase these items,” he shared, highlighting their commitment to community welfare.
Liness Chikasema, a staff member at Kadidi Health Center, expressed deep gratitude for the donation, stating that patients will now enjoy comfortable seating while waiting for care. This contribution is poised to significantly improve service delivery, easing the discomfort of long waits for those in need of medical attention.
