First it was Silver Strikers, the next one was Mighty Mukuru Wanderers. Dedza Dynamos are playing inconsistently but against giants, they are usually upping their efforts.

The Salima Sugar sponsored side walked out of the Commercial city, Blantyre with a point after coming behind to hold the Nomads.

Again, Wanderers fans were angry. The players used personal Transport to return home as the supporters bayed for the players, coaches’ blood. The team bus used no one apart from the driver himself.

Mighty Mukuru Wanderers are struggling as they have just won one game in their last four league games. They lost to Chitipa at home, beat Karonga United before a shocking defeat to Extreme FC.

Christopher Kumwembe had opened the scores within the tender ages of the game. Stanley Sanudi overllaped with the ball before laying it off to the Nomads’ hitman who unleashed a thunderous connection from the edge of the box into the bottom left-corner.

The goal gave the Nomads the confidence and with the support from the terraces, they nearly doubled their lead through Mpinganjira whose shot was saved by Anthony Singini for Dedza.

It was Wanderers all over the pitch in the first half as Anthony Singini was a busy man. Felix Zulu blazed over after being set by Kumwembe, Mkonda’s header was well delt by the goalkeeper and Singin denied Kumwembe a brace.

The Nomads were in top in the first five minutes after the recess but Dynamos were back in the game as they had their first shot on goal being parried away by Williams Thole.

The pressure that they applied got rewarded as they had a penalty after 64 minutes. Edwards Dakalira sent Thole to the wrong way to take the game back to where it started.

Late changes made by two coaches changed nothing as the game ended 1-all.

Wanderers have missed the chance to go just a point behind their cross-town Rivals, FCB Nyasa Big Bullets who were held to a barren draw by Kamuzu Barracks.

Dedza Dynamos are now 11th with 11 points from 10 games.
