TNM plc upgrades to 5G Network

Listed Telekom Networks Malawi (TNM) PLC, Company number 4029 has upgraded to 5G Network which they have described as the fastest network.
The official launch of the 5G Network (mAhApE) campaign took place on Friday evening at the Bingu International Convertional Centre (BICC) in the capital City, Lilongwe.
TNM ‘s campaigns can be traced from 2008 where it had its great to be here campaign , later in 2016 timatere campaign and in 2020 there was Ndizotheka campaign which aimed at empowering customers that it is possible with tnm.
The thematic mAhApE campaign aims provide customers with best services so that when they reflect at it they should smile. It will offer first class business solutions for a business recruitment and such as network for business reasons to smile.
TNM Chief Executive Officer Michael Herbert says we all need 5G fast network to connect things and people with the advancement of technology. Evolution of internet is should be understood with what people do with internet.
“In the advanced of technology computer ships have been made smaller world 5G can help you to operate something’s while you are busy doing your business citing an example of having what’s in your fridge while you are at work and plan your food menu. 5G has also the ability to control traffic in cities with lights even allocate you where to pack your car in busy venues.”
Minister of Information and digitalization, Moses Kunkuyu expressed his gratitude by saluting tnm with the official launch of the 5G in the country giving Malawians the opportunity to enjoy the fast technology just like other economies.
“Rolling of 5G affirms Govermemt position in making digitalization a policy of Malawi economic growth. As President Chakwera said for an industrialised country and we can notaffors to miss technology train hence 5G is a facilitator of the ambitious efforts of Government.”
He further urged tnm not to relax in the competitive world where technology is an enabler, when a windsof change blows some build walls while some build windmills meaning change brings progress demand that we do not stand still.
TNM launched its 1G in the year 1995, in 2009 it launched 2G then in 2010 it launched 3G later in 2016 it switched to 4G and finally now just like most developed countries it has launched 5G.
