Stakeholders launch Limbe Market cleaning Campaign

Some stakeholders have embarked cleaning campaign around the Limbe Market as one way of keeping the City Clean.

Limbe police, Asian Business Community, Minbus owners Association of Malawi and the Blantyre city council are the Stakeholders on forefront of the campaign.

Gladson Chimphuphula, Deputy Commissioner Limbe in-charge officer said this is a good initiative and has come at good time following what the States president of the Republic of Malawi Dr Lazarus McCarthy Chakwera said that every place must be cleaned to bring hygiene in the City and prevent infections.

Speaking during the launching, Chairperson for the Asian Business Community Mailbul Latif said there is a need of making sure that the city is clean so that business men and buyers are free from infection and are living in a clean areas.

People around Limbe town ship describe that this is good program as a way of fighting against Cholera pandemic that has affected the country.
