PP President Dr. Joyce Banda Engages Zomba Youth Entrepreneurs in Key Economic Dialogue
The leader of the People’s Party (PP), Dr. Joyce Banda, is currently in the city of Zomba where this afternoon she is meeting with young small-scale entrepreneurs from various surrounding areas.
According to senior party officials, the primary objective of the meeting is to discuss strategies for strengthening small businesses, recognizing their critical role in boosting the national economy.
Approximately 1,000 youth entrepreneurs are taking part in the discussions, according to party sources.
Ayatu Chidothi, a representative of the small business community, said the instability of commodity prices has greatly affected their operations. He expressed that meeting with the former president, who has always championed entrepreneurship, has come at a very important time.
