Moyale Ready For Bullets
Moyale Barracks Fc Coach, Nicolas Mhango confidently said his charges is set for Bullets on Saturday at Kamuzu Stadium.
Mhango said this to the Club’s Media ahead of the forthcoming intriguing match against the TNM Super League Defending Champions, FCB Nyasa Big Bullets.
Off the back of a 1-0 win over Kamuzu Barracks Football Club last week, Nicolas Mhango and his charges are hoping to record the first back-to-back wins this season.
Mhango who has re-taken his sit as the Head coach of the team after returning from Peace-keeping duties replacing his assistant Prichard Mwansa said the boys are ready for the game.
“We are ready for the game against Bullets,” said Mhango.
Moyale Barracks travelled to Blantyre after the game gainst Kamuzu Barracks to cut off the expenses and the team have been training in Blantyre since Tuesday.
“We came here in Blantyre on Monday, we trained at Kamuzu Stadium from Wednesday, gearing for the game.
“We don’t have any injury in our squad and every one is ready for the game and I wish the players to play according to my instructions.
“We came here early due to the poor fixture, we played in Lilongwe against KB and had an early travel just to cut off the expenses,” he added.
The team’s have met 36 times since 2008, Bullets have 21 wins while The Lions of Kaning’ina have 3 wins with 12 games ending in stalemate.
Lanjesi Nkhoma scored two goals while Gomezgani Chirwa who has returned from injury scored one as Bullets beat Moyale a 3-1 during our last visit to the Kamuzu Stadium
Moyale Barracks have never won at Kamuzu against Bullets since 2008.
The Malawi Defence Force sponsored team has beaten Bullets at home 3 times during the time, back in 2013 Gasten Simkonda scored the only goal at Mzuzu Stadium, in 2017 Black Alisen scored the winner and Lloyd Njaliwa who left the Club for Mozambique earlier this year scored the winner in 2020.
Moyale have conceded 12 goals in their last 3 visit to Kamuzu Stadium, a 5-1 defeat in 2020, 4-all draw in FDH Bank Cup last season and 3-1 defeat.
Moyale dropped two points at home when they were forced to a 1-1 draw by Karonga United in their first match of the season before they played out to a goalless draw against Ekwendeni Hammers in their second fixture.
