The Group’s Head of Corporate Affairs, Mbumba Mlia-Ndasauka, made the remarks following the conclusion of the Eastern Region playoffs, which produced three teams for the national finals.

Mlia-Ndasauka said the competition continues to provide emerging players with opportunities to showcase their abilities, develop their skills and compete at a higher level.

She added that the tournament plays an important role in expanding opportunities for netball players while contributing to the continued growth of the sport in the country.

In the Eastern Region playoffs, Prison Queens emerged champions after defeating Airforce Falcons 55-33 in the final to underline their dominance in the competition.
