Lumbadzi Police Station Committed to Peaceful Co-Existence

The newly appointed Officer-in-Charge for Lumbadzi Police Station, Deputy Commissioner Dennis Banda, has reaffirmed the station’s commitment to promoting peaceful co-existence with the community ahead of the September 16 General Elections.

Banda made the remarks during a lecture with officers at the station, where he emphasized the importance of neutrality and unity regardless of political affiliations.

“We will ensure that we foster a culture of peaceful co-existence, irrespective of political differences,” said Banda.

He stressed the need for collaboration and shared responsibility between the police and community members to maintain peace and security in the area.

Banda also highlighted plans to enhance police visibility in the area, as part of broader efforts to combat criminal activities both locally and nationwide.

In his closing remarks, Banda urged officers to uphold discipline and avoid engaging in immoral behavior.

Assistant Superintendent Golden Umali commended the Officer-in-Charge for the timely meeting, noting that it will help instill discipline among officers and contribute to crime reduction in the area.
