JCE Exams a Success: MoBSE Commends MANEB for Flawless Execution

Minister of Basic and Secondary Education, Madalitso Kambauwa Wirima, has commended the Malawi National Examinations Board (MANEB) and all stakeholders for the smooth and efficient administration of this year’s

Speaking in Lilongwe following the conclusion of the exams, Wirima confirmed that her ministry had not received any complaints regarding the conduct of the examinations.

She also noted that the government had allocated adequate resources for exam markers, helping to avert any potential disruptions or strikes over allowance issues.

The minister encouraged teachers, students preparing for the upcoming Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE) exams, and exam planners to draw lessons from the successful execution of the JCE exams to ensure a similarly smooth MSCE period.

The JCE exams were administered by MANEB from June 3 to June 12, 2025.
