Civil Service United Clinch Victory in Kamuzu Day Friendly Match at Mzuzu Stadium

Civil Service United emerged victorious in a thrilling friendly match against Mzuzu City Hummers, held at Mzuzu Stadium as part of this year’s Kamuzu Day celebrations.

The match, which ended in a goalless draw after 60 minutes of regulation time, was decided through a tense penalty shootout that saw Civil Service United triumph 3-2.

The highly anticipated fixture attracted a large crowd, with notable dignitaries gracing the occasion. Among them were President Lazarus Chakwera, First Lady Madam Monica Chakwera, several cabinet ministers, and top government officials, who joined football fans in commemorating the legacy of Malawi’s first president, Dr. Hastings Kamuzu Banda, through sport.
