Bangwe rope in Kamwendo on interim basis

Bangwe All Stars has announced the Appointment of Mighty Mukuru Wanderers Youth Coach and Flames Legend Joseph Kamwendo on interim basis following the redeployment of Mavuto Lungu and his deputy Chancy Msema to the reserve side due to poor perfomance.
Speaking to team’s media Kamwendo said that he is very much thankful to the management of Bangwe All Stars for trusting him to lead the team.
“First of all let me thank the management of Bangwe All Stars for approaching me to help the team in the time being, I know it will be a tough task for me but with the experience that I have got from the time I had at Wanderers reserve and Youth I hope we will do great things as a team since am also familiar with the team when it was playing in premier division and now my focus goes to our cup game tomorrow against Mafco FC and then a super league against Tigers on sunday so that we should do well” Said Kamwendo
On his Part, owner of Bangwe All Star Mphatso Jika has said that they have made the decision because Kamwendo knows the team very well.
” We settled for Joseph Kamwendo to lead us in this difficult time because he knows the team he has coached them before when we were playing in premier division and Kamwendo knows alot about football, he has vast experience which he help in motivating the boys since he has played football at international stage”. Said Jika
Kamwendo will be deputised by Joseph Semu who has managing the team on temporary basis.
