Court Gives Dpp an Injunction Against Mchacha’s Dismissal

It’s not just raining for DPP but storming as disputes rise in endorsements and high court issues oder of injunction to professor Author Peter Mutharika and the Democratic progressive party (DPP) against the removal of Honourable Charles Mchacha on his position.

The party sucked off Mchacha as the southern region Regional governor for DPP and Thomson Kamangira replaced him but the court upon hearing , reading sworn statements by the claimant and supporting arguments oders an interlocutory injunction .

The injunction dated 19th April 2023 signed by the court registrar before honourable justice Mdeza restrains Mutharika and DPP from executing their decision and replacing him until determination of the matter from immediate today.

Mchacha was fired for been reportedly opposing the endorsement of DPP president Peter Mutharika as the presidential candidate for the 2025 Tripartite elections.

Mutharika has not yet viewed his decision on whether he will contest in the July convention or not but he promised to announce his decision before July.
