The Dr Jane Ansah Foundation marked Eid Al-Adha on Wednesday by giving 30 cattle to Muslim communities across Malawi.
This support was extended to families observing the festival of sacrifice.

According to Yusuf Nthenda, Executive Director of the Foundation, the donation underscores the organization’s resolve to stand with communities during important religious moments.
Madina Mosque in Mchesi, Lilongwe, received 15 cattle from the donation.
The other 15 cattle were sent to several mosques in Salima District to reach more beneficiaries.

Sheikh Abdullah Mussa, who spoke on behalf of Madina Mosque, expressed appreciation for the foundation’s gesture.
He said the gift would enable many Muslim households to celebrate Eid Al-Adha with dignity and joy.
Sheikh Mussa also appealed to the Vice President of Malawi, who is the founder of the foundation, for help in completing a mosque house project.

He explained that the construction has reached the roofing phase and requires 14 roofing sheets.
Yusuf Nthenda replied that the founder had accepted the request.
He directed the mosque representatives to collect the remaining roofing sheets the next day.

Residents have described the donation as an expression of compassion, unity, and support for vulnerable people during Eid Al-Adha.
