JB Urges PP Convention Winners to Prioritize NEC Roles

Former President Dr. Joyce Banda has called upon the newly elected members of the People’s Party (PP) National Executive Committee (NEC) to approach their roles with the seriousness and dedication required to drive the party’s success.

She emphasized that these positions are not merely ceremonial but carry significant responsibilities critical to the party’s influence in national politics.

Banda, who served as Malawi’s president from 2012 to 2014, stressed the importance of strategic planning, grassroots engagement, and effective communication in navigating the party’s future challenges and opportunities.

She also underscored the need for unity among party leaders, prioritizing the party’s and nation’s interests above personal ambitions.
