Flames midfielder and Former Nyasa Big Bullets Captain, Chimwemwe Idana has found a new home in Tanzania as he has joined the Tanzania National Football League, Mbeya City.
Idana and Nyasa Big Bullets agreed to part ways after failing to agree on contract extension terms and the people’s team announced his departure from the team after five seasons.
The 2021 tnm Super League player of the season and best midfielder had successful trials with DSTV Premier Soccer League side, Sekhukhune United but he was told towait until July for the Club to sign him as the number of foreign players exceeded the limit.
However, on Friday, Reports from Tanzania state that the deep-laying midfielder has signed a one-half-year contract with the Tanzanian Premier League side.
Idana becomes the third player with the roots of Nyasa Big Bullets to join Mbeya City which was found in 2011after Sankhani Mkandawire and Owen Chaima.
