Tigers part ways with Coach Nyambose
Blantyre based side, Mighty Tigers have parted ways with their Head Coach, Christopher Nyambose after a run of poor results this season.
Nyambose dumped Karonga United earlier this year for the Kau-Kau boys but consistency has been a problem at the Club.
Tigers are currently in the relegation zone after their recent poor results posing a threat which could see the team facing a chop from the elite league for the first time since 1986.
Since beating Moyale Barracks, Tigers have played four games without a win including being stunned by Santhe Admarc in the FDH Bank Cup.
They lost Kamuzu Barracks, Red Lions and Chitipa United to plunge down to 15th with just 12 points from 13 games.
It reported that the Coach has already waved a good bye to his players with two games to go before the end of the first half of the season.
Meanwhile, former FCB Nyasa Big Bullets and Flames midfielder, Robert Baggio Ng’ambi is expected to take over the helm as a stand-in coach.
Tigers will wrap up their first round with two home games against Blue Eagles and FCB Nyasa Big Bullets.
