One of the local upcoming producers Precious Kapakasa AKA P-Kay has advice his fellow young producers not to be involved in piracy and concentrate in their own talent of making beat and instrumentals.
P-Kay says the act of using other’s instrumentals in the music without the consent of the owner is strictly prohibited.
He added that he made his own beats and instrumentals which he sells to some artists who came to his studio to record and produce their songs.
“I made my own beats and instrumentals which helps me to run away from piracy because I know that when I do take someones work is against the law, I advice my fellow up coming producers to refrain from using other beats and instrumentals from within the country or outside the country.”
P-Kay who is the owner of Recious Records studio at Pondamali Trading Centre in Lilongwe has helped many up and coming artists by producing and recording their songs.
He has been in production industries for 4 years and now he has introduced a WhatsApp Group which his aim is to promote young talented up-and-coming artists.
