President Chakwera Commends Youth for Resilience Amidst Political Turmoil

President Lazarus Chakwera has praised Malawi’s youth for their resilience and commitment to progress, despite recent attempts to exploit the tragic death of Saulos Chilima for political gain.

Chakwera acknowledged that some individuals have tried to use Chilima’s death to incite violence, but commended the youth for remaining steadfast and focused on positive change.

The President recognized the challenges faced by the youth, including fulfilling promises such as repaying loans to the National Economic Empowerment Fund (NEEF) and engaging in projects in Israel. He encouraged the younger generation to continue striving towards these goals, emphasizing their crucial role in shaping the nation’s future.

Chakwera also urged the public not to be misled by those seeking to undermine the government’s efforts, assuring Malawians that the administration remains committed to their well-being and development.
