Mwaungulu saves Bullets from defeat

The TNM Super League Champions FCB Nyasa Big Bullets has failed to open two-point gap over Mighty Mukuru Wanderers on top of the TNM Super League log table after playing a 1-all stalemate against Civil Service United.
The Red Army found themselves behind after 15 minutes at Civo Stadium after Binwell Katinji scored for the hosts but Patrick Mwaungulu in the second half rouse on to the occasion to make the teams share a point each.
Bullets Head Coach, Kalisto Pasuwa described that his players started on slow note and they were second on the ball that’s why they conceded a goal in the first half.
“It was a very good game only that we started very slowly and our opposition were dominating. But coming into second half we had to come with plan B then we managed to score” Pasuwa explained.
On his part Peter Mponda who is the deputy Coach for Bullets congratulated his opponents that they played well .
“Civil has played very well as you can see there were on our top , but coming the second half we managed to score.
“A point is enough as we are going back to Blantyre, and we will see where our problems are to solve,”Said Mponda.
Team Manager for Civil Service United , Gabriel Chirwa said his team played as how they do play in their games.
“Yes we have played very well and we are the good team. We always play well not only for this game against Bullets, only that we failed to score more goals. And we are having good future because we take every game as the important one ” said Gabriel Chirwa.
FCB Nyasa Big Bullets have now leapfrogged Mighty Mukuru Wanderers on top of the table on goal difference as they have 14 points from six games while Civil Service United are 12th with six points from the same number of games.
Chikaiko Patson was voted for the man of the match.
