Silver Strikers FC have confirmed that Hassan Kajoke has successfully refunded the MK3.9 Million that pocketed from the Club months ago.

FCB Nyasa Big Bullets striker was on the verge of dumping his boyhood Club for Silver Strikers earlier this year before making a u-turn on his decision to sign a three-year contract with Bullets.

Silver Strikers petitioned Football Association of Malawi on the matter the Player Status Committe held the hearing last week where they ordered Kajoke to refund the money within five days of notification of the decision.

Silver Strikers General Secretary, Peter Masiye confirmed the development to this publication in an interviews.

“Yes, I can confirm that Mr Hassan Kajoke, just about 30 minutes ago, has refunded the money. We have just checked our system, and it shows that the account has been accredited with MK3.9,” said Masiye.

However, the Central Bankers are considering of claiming their interest as the striker has failed to beat the deadline of 29 or 30th May.

“Rules are there to be followed, so Fam through their 27-page judgement clearly said that the money had to be paid in exactly five days. We will review it to make decisions on the matter,” he added.

Kajoke has missed five games this season and he is expected to be part of the squad to travel to Karonga to face Chitipa United this weekend.

“Striker, Hassan Kajoke has handed Kalisto Pasuwa following his return to full training this week after fully recovery from his ankle injury, ” reads the Club’s article in part.

Kajoke sustained an injury during Bullets’ 3-1 win over Moyale Barracks.
