Jumah says Malawi needs truth, reconciliation and healing

President and Commander in Chief of Muvi wa Chilungamo Revolutionary Party (MRP) Bantu Saunders Jumah, says Malawi has for 60 years missed several opportunities for lacking truth and justice observing that failure to know the truth has resulted to the country being the poorest with poorest leaders.

Jumah said the cabinet crisis in 1964 led three-quarters of Kamuzu ministers run away into exile and the reasons that made the ministers to flee the country were not made to the public saying till this day, Malawians are living in the darkest period.

He said in 2011 the DPP led government under Professor Bingu wa Mutharika murdered 20 citizens in Mzuzu, the families buried their loved ones but the country up to this day has failed to bring to book the culprits.

Speaking through a Revolutionary voice in various social media platforms, Jumah said on Monday 10th June, 2024 President Chakwera received a report of the missing plane which carried the departed Vice President Dr. Saulosi Chilima at 10;15 a.m but requested for a report to reach him after 4 hours.

Jumah said SADC has Security and Peace organ saying if President Chakwera approached SADC, member states such as South Africa, Zimbabwe, Zambia and Tanzania could have sent speed fighter jets to reach Chikangawa forest to rescue Dr. Chilima and eight others.

He said Malawi beside being regarded the Warm Heart of Africa, its leaders lack the truth and have no justice observing that government is supposed to be of service to the people not scaring people with arrests wondering how will people keep peace if those killing people are left free.

The MRP President said Malawians needs nothing but truth so that they can keep peace claiming that in their hearts, lack of truth is burning with hope and trust that soon or later, the truth will burst out of their hearts and they will see justice.

“Until one day Malawians see truth and justice reconciliation will come thereafter then the country will need healing,” said Jumah.

He said Malawi is a country that shuns the truth, truth and justice is for the poor people while those that have money, money is setting them free observing that cash gate politicians are all free, politicians who killed Robert Chasowa free, politicians in K30 billion meant for AIP fertilizer free, politicians benefiting from Sattar’s corruption basket fund free saying Malawi is not healed.

Jumah said Malawi is not a peaceful country as it used to be for 60 years claiming that its politicians are killers and murderers saying it is sad that people who would have taken Malawi to true transformation, are the ones who are being escorted to early graves.
