Illovo Sugar Africa Group CEO meet Chakwera

Illovo Sugar Africa Group CEO, Mr. Gavin Dalgleish, paid a courtesy visit to Malawi President Dr Lazarus Mc Cathy Chakwera on Wednesday.

Chakwera since assured Illovo Group that as a host market, Malawi will nurture an enabling environment in which the company can recapitalize existing ventures or expand its footprint into new sectors.

“Inspired by our resolve to commercialize, mechanize and industrialize the agriculture sector, Illovo Sugar Africa Group CEO, Mr. Gavin Dalgleish, paid me a courtesy visit, where we have discussed the conglomerate’s plans to diversify its investment portfolio in Malawi”

“I am delighted that Illovo is perfectly aligning with our strategy of commercialising Agriculture as one of the key drivers of sustainable socioeconomic development in line with our aspirations of graduating to a middle income economy,” he said.
