FCB Nyasa Big Bullets win 2023 NBS Charity Shield

FCB Nyasa Big Bullets are the champions of this year’s NBS Charity Shield after beating their arch rivals Mighty Mukuru Wanderers by two goals to one (2:1) at Bingu National Stadium.

The game which started in a high note from both sides but FCB Nyasa Big Bullets find there first goal through Maxwell Gasten Phodo in the first half and in the second half Stanley Billiat scored a second goal and Misheck Botoman pull one back in the 77 minutes but this has note make them to win the game.
Speaking during the postmatch interviews, FCB Nyasa Big Bullets coach Kalisto Pasuwa says he is proud with the way his boys did during the match.
“I am proud with the boys and the way they played the game, they played with patient and the build up is going forward and I expect to have a good team this season.”
Pasuwa also says he was forced to make some changes during the game because some of his boys were not with the team during pre-season training and he will make sure that those boys will adapt with their fellow players.

On his side Mighty Mukuru Wanderers coach Mack Harrison says his boys were second on the ball in the first half which costed them much.
He added that his team performed good in the second half but this was not enough to his boys were they only managed to score only a single goal.
“In the second half my boys were little bit better but not too much and we failed to find and aqualiser during the game because our friends were everywhere.

This is the first time FCB Nyasa Big Bullets to beat Mighty Mukuru Wanderers at Bingu National Stadium since the stadium officially opened in this country.
