FAM slap Karonga United
Football Association of Malawi has fined Karonga United K1 million for using an unqualified coach contrary to FAM Club Licencing regulations.
According to a letter signed by FAM General Secretary Alfred Gunda the team registered Kondwa Ikwanga as head coach but the team has been using assistant coach Luka Milanzie.
FAM has further banned Luka Milanzie from sitting on the bench during the team’s games.
Karonga United have been without coach following the departure of Kondwa Ikwanga some months ago.
