Football lovers from Mchinji District has all reasons to start fasting and pray harder as Extreme FC has chosen Dimba stadium as their home ground for tnm super league home matches.
Extreme FC team Manager Fred Kandulu has confirmed to The Malawi Guardian online that they have chosen three stadia and among of them is Dimba stadium at Kapiri Trading Centre in Mchinji District which was being used as their home ground in the Chipiku stores premier Division league.
The other stadia are St Gabriel stadium at Namitete and civil stadium both in Lilongwe and says they are waiting for Football Association of Malawi to inspect the Dimba stadium and certify the stadium.
“We have three option on stadia to be used as our home ground, we have chosen Dimba Stadium us our first choice and seconded by ST Gabriel and Civil Stadium in Lilongwe. I understand that officials from Super League of Malawi (SULOM) in conjunction with Officials from Football Association of Malawi (FAM) will come and access the pitch and whatever comes will therefore announce to the public whether we are going to use Dimba stadium as our home ground or ST Gabriel stadium and civil stadium”.
On part of trials which begin on February 15, and will ended on February 20, 2023 Kandulu says despite that they call for trials they will go on market and buy other players which have been offloaded by other teams because they are not impressed with some players who are doing trials at their club saying that right now only two players have impressed them.
“The trials are partly going well but we are not impressed with the way players are doing as only two players have shown that are good players and can fit to payer with Extream FC,. With that we are going to start searching other players from other teams and others which have been offloaded by other teams.” Said Kandulu.
Extreme FC finished on position one in the Chipiku Stores Central region premier Division league and promoted into the Elite league.
