“Centenary Bank Opens 16th Branch in Mchinji, Pledges to Promote Financial Inclusion”

Centenary Bank of Malawi has opened its sixteenth branch in Mchinji district, reaffirming its commitment to promoting financial inclusion and driving economic growth.

According to the bank’s managing director, Godfrey Byekwaso, the new branch will empower communities across the country and work closely with the government to ensure that the people of Mchinji and surrounding areas benefit from its services.

“This initiative demonstrates our dedication to supporting the people of Malawi,” Byekwaso said.

“We believe that financial inclusion is key to unlocking economic growth and prosperity.”

Minister of Gender, Community Development, and Social Welfare, Jean Sendeza, commended Centenary Bank for its efforts in promoting financial inclusion, particularly among women and marginalized groups.
