President Chakwera Concludes Tour of Issa Cattle Ranch
His Excellency, Dr. Lazarus McCarthy Chakwera, President of the Republic of Malawi, has concluded his tour of the Issa Cattle Ranch in Traditional Authority Ngabu, Chikwawa.
The President was accompanied by the First Lady, Madame Monica Chakwera, as well as Paramount Chief Lundu, Senior Chief Mlilima, Senior Chief Chapananga, Senior Chief Ngabu, and Senior Chief Ngokwe.
A large crowd gathered along the road, waving and expressing joy at the President’s visit. President Chakwera is currently in the Lower Shire, undertaking various duties.
According to the Office of the President and Cabinet, his itinerary includes a visit to the Malawi Rural Electrification Programme (MAREP) at Nguluwe Village, Traditional Authority Mbenje, Nsanje.
The President will also hold an interface meeting with education officials at Ngabu Secondary School, Traditional Authority Ngabu, Chikwawa.
Additionally, he will engage in interaction sessions with businesspeople from the Lower Shire at Nchalo Sports Club in Chikwawa.
