One of leading Medical Scheme providers Medhealth has pledged to continue sponsoring Moyale Barracks Sports Teams.
The company revealed this on Saturday when they unveiled the Moyale Barracks football team Home and Away Jersey for 2023 season.
Handing over the Jersey Medhealth Fortune Kanyemba Operations Manager said the Company is willing to help the military outfit teams from Moyale Barracks.
“This is our third year since we started sponsoring Moyale Barracks teams, its not football team only but all sports teams including Volleyball, Basketball and others, Since we started sponsoring them we have spent more than K5 million Kwacha and we are still doing it in relation to the proposal that we received from them,” said Kanyemba.
In his remarks Moyale Barracks Commanding officer Lieutenant Colonel Thokozani Chazema Psc thanked Medhealth for the support they are rendering to the Barracks sports teams.
“Am very thankful to Medhealth is doing by continuing sponsoring our teams with jersey, I believe Moyale Barracks is a brand name as far as Football is concerned in Malawi, and parterning with us will do good as far as marketing is concern so I urge them to take this partnership with Moyale Barracks Sports as a long corraboration,” said Chazema.
Medhealth have been the official sponsors of Moyale Barracks Sports Team Jersey for more than three years.
Other notable people who attended the event were Trustee Victor Gondwe, Trustee Dr Sellina Kapondera and other Moyale Barracks senior officials.
