MUM urges Local Musician To Desist From Biffing

Musician Union of Malawi (MUM) has advices Malawian Musician to desist themselves from the act of biffing each other on social media.

Musician Union of Malawi (MUM) president Vita Chirwa says the conduct of biffing among musician can tarnish the image of an artist and can also affect his or her career on music.

“I would like to advise my fellow musician to desist themselves from the conduct of biffing on social media, because this will lead into tarnishing someone image and even though the career of that artist will also be affected because because people might stop to follow or listen to their music.”

Chirwa has also encouraged the musician to collaborate with their fellow musician during tough or good times.

He give an example of Patience Namadingo who collaborate with Lawi after Awilo Longomba failed to show up at BICC where Lawi organised a dinner and dance on April 29, this year.

” The musician should start collaboring each other as the way Patience Namadingo did to his fellow artists Lawi after Awilo Longomba failed to show at BICC in Lilongwe, that spirit will help to rise our music industry in the country.”

For many times musicians in Malawi are using social media to biff their fellow musician in the country or even across the boarder.
