UTM Party Leader Dr. Dalitso Kabambe Holds Whistle-stop Meetings in the Shire Valley

The leader of the UTM party, Dr. Dalitso Kabambe, is currently in the Shire Valley where he is conducting a series of whistle-stop meetings.

Dr. Kabambe began these meetings at Dyeratu Market in Chikwawa District, where he was welcomed by Group Village Headman Sadulo and various businesspeople operating in the area.

“Our businesses have collapsed, things are not going well. We were deceived about this market — it looks like a pigsty, and there are no toilets here. We are pleading with you, Dr. Kabambe, to assist us,” said Henry Zimola, speaking on behalf of the business community at Dyeratu Market.

In response, Dr. Kabambe promised the people of Chikwawa that he will prioritize agricultural development to ensure food security, as well as economic growth and business support. He expressed concern that many Malawians are living difficult lives.

Among other notable figures accompanying him at the meetings are Dr. Patricia Patricia and Mr. Makondi.
