NICE Partners with Nyika Media Club for 2025 Elections

The National Initiative for Civic Education (NICE) has joined forces with Nyika Media Club to strengthen election coverage and enhance public awareness ahead of Malawi’s 2025 general elections.

This strategic partnership aims to equip journalists with the knowledge and tools necessary to report on electoral processes with accuracy, fairness, and integrity.

By combining NICE’s expertise in civic education with the professional reporting standards upheld by Nyika Media Club, the initiative seeks to promote informed voter participation and discourage misinformation.

As part of the collaboration, journalists will receive specialized training on ethical election reporting, fact-checking, and balanced coverage of political activities.

A formal signing ceremony is scheduled for February 21, where both organizations will outline key initiatives designed to elevate media standards and foster credible journalism throughout the election period.
