Chakwera’s Airport Directive Earns Praise from Social Commentators

Social commentators have applauded President Lazarus Chakwera for directing that military parades, political party dances, and press briefings be halted at airports during his arrivals and departures.
According to a communiqué from the State House, the directive is aimed at minimizing disruptions at airports and ensuring smooth operations.
Speaking on the matter, social commentator Ceaser Kondowe welcomed the move, emphasizing its positive impact on orderliness and tourism.
“Tourists were often inconvenienced whenever the President arrived or departed, but this directive will put an end to such disruptions,” Kondowe stated.
He further urged Malawians to view the decision as a step towards efficiency rather than a political maneuver.
